Sunday Worship
Worship in person at CCH every
Sunday morning at 9 am.
Parking is plentiful with handicapped access to the sanctuary. When you enter the sanctuary you’ll be welcomed and given a printed worship guide, which contains the order of our service and all the words to our songs and readings. We work hard to make worship interactive and accessible, but don’t worry if it all seems strange or new; you are welcome to participate in any way that feels comfortable to you.
Our services last one hour and they’re filled with beautiful music, the reading of scripture, a 15-17 minute sermon given by our preacher of the day, opportunities to give and to pray together–both important elements of worship. Children are welcome to stay through the whole service or begin worship with us and migrate to the nursery or Sunday school, when in session.
During worship you’ll also be invited to greet your neighbors with a word of peace, sit in reflection during instrumental music, listen to the voices and wisdom of our children, and feel safe and seen.
Once a month on the first Sunday of the month we celebrate communion. You are served communion in your seat, and of course taking communion is your personal choice. We believe that at the table of Christ, everyone is welcome–that means you! Pastor Amy would be very glad to answer any questions you may have about worship; please reach out!
